The initial proof of concept demonstrates the significant impact Predikt-r will have on our business, making it a safer place to work for our people and our clients.

Overview

Working with an organisation that provides aged care, social justice and disability services to the community, we developed a customised screening assessment. Using the safety performance and assessment results of over 100 existing employees, Predikt-r’s safety competencies were tailored for the organisation’s frontline care workers.

Our findings clearly demonstrated the importance of screening job candidates on key factors related to emotional regulation and resilience. Staff that Predikt-r identified as ‘high risk’ were 1.5 times more likely to be injured in the workplace. In particular, employees who indicated they had difficulty managing their emotions were up to 2.3 times more likely to be injured and up to 5 times more likely to be involved in a motor vehicle accident.

Findings

Based on current indications, shortlisting potential care workers using the Predikt-r solution is expected to reduce injuries delivering:

This is based on a conservative average cost of minor injuries (of $4,397.28 per injury). Additional (uncalculated) savings will be achieved through reduced motor vehicle accidents, reduced insurance premiums and faster recruitment processes.
